As I’m recording this episode, the entire U.S. is in a period of major transition--a lifequake. Some might attribute it to our political system...will there be a peaceful transition from one president to the next? Others might attribute it to the COVID pandemic...will we be able to liberate ourselves from quarantine once the vaccines are deployed? But change can show up for us on smaller scales in our daily lives too. And if we don’t have a helpful context for understanding the frequency and types of change in our lives, it can all feel a bit much.

I’m laying the foundation for navigating change today as it’s something I coach on frequently. Big or small, the principles for navigating change remain the same. But first, we need to understand the bigger picture of how transitions function. Tune in this week as I lay out the 5 pillars of life transitions. I encourage you to reflect on how you’re currently grappling with these pillars in your life. As you begin to see how these patterns show up in your life, you’ll be able to liberate yourself from some of the “struggle” you may be experiencing.
