My Promises

Empirically Backed Insights

This ain’t amateur hour. I make wellbeing science riveting. (Yes, really.)

Transformational Experiences

Expect dynamic, outcome-driven inspiration and epiphanies to take action in your life. Guaranteed.

Story-Rich Edutainment

Never a snooze fest. (I was once told, “Your life is one big highlight reel.”)

“…A presentation she led brought in 80% of new members who had not known about our group and were inspired to join because her topics are top of mind…”

“You will not regret an investment in Meghan. I have hired her to speak to multiple groups because her wisdom is applicable to so many. The stories and wisdom she shared and the thoughts provoked lasted much longer than the hour she presented. It is a gift to your group to hear what she has to say.

Meghan’s energy is contagious. She’s a storyteller, with the experience to back it up. She sets the tone as a friend who will tell it like it is with a lot of humor, while also being a sage advisor. A presentation she led brought in 80% of new members who had not known about our group and were inspired to join because her topics are top of mind—but there are no directions on how to get there. We found we needed to go beyond providing just education about our cardiology topic to find out how health care clinicians can take care of themselves, which translates into taking better care of patients.

Meghan outlined a succinct plan for how the members of our group could (and should) develop their purpose. She went beyond the catchphrases and took a deep dive into how to make the life you want—outlining the path with tools on how to get there.

Here are the keynote topics on which I speak regularly.

Creating a Purpose-Powered Life

We create purpose in moments big and small…and in all types of settings. When it comes to workplaces, here’s the simple truth: you can’t build healthy, highwhole-performing teams without purpose-powered employees. But purpose-powered workforce management is critically different than purpose-driven business initiatives, which are mostly determined top-down.

When you help colleagues become purpose-powered, you spark intrinsic motivation, reduce reliance on financial incentives, and inspire positive cultures. As a result, organizations doing this well increase retention, aid recruitment, and foster whole-person care. In fact, 800+ peer-reviewed studies show that people with purpose enjoy greater mental wellbeing, sounder sleep, better stress management, and more openness to change.

Meghan provides a framework and resources to future-fit organizations with purpose-powered employees…and, in turn, cultures.

Length: 30-45 minutes
Good for:

  • All-hands meetings or retreats to increase employee engagement by encouraging personal development within and beyond the workplace

  • Managers dealing with challenging groups of employees

  • High-achieving professionals seeking greater purpose and meaning in their work and overall lives

  • Association meetings or conferences focused on healthy aging, longevity, midlife, navigating uncertainty

Transforming High Performance into Whole Performance™

Most companies adhere to this belief: if you work harder, you’ll achieve more, and then you’ll be fulfilled. At the same time, organizations are looking to escape the “pressure and incentivize” approach to supporting workers perennially on the edge of burnout.

When seeking ways to drive success, answers are seldom found in the systems, hacks, and tools to get more done. Amid challenge and change, it’s time we shift the focus away from extractive practices and toward regenerative practices. It’s time to help people become invested in their whole selves again…as an antidote to overload and burnout…and an organizational imperative for recruitment and retention.

In this high-energy session, Meghan examines the critical difference between high performance and whole performance. She shares research-backed insights into humanity and work. Finally, Meghan offers targeted inquiries that provide insight and momentum for individuals, teams, and organizations to create regenerative excellence.

Length: 45-60 minutes
Good for:

  • All-hands meetings or retreats to increase employee engagement by encouraging personal development within and beyond the workplace

  • High-achieving and/or overloaded professionals wanting to transform their relationship with work and success

Embracing the Spacious Life™

Drawing on 20+ years of research and work in wellbeing, longevity, and life transitions, Meghan presents a timely roadmap about what to do when our lives aren’t what we expected, we’ve veered off course, we’re overloaded and overwhelmed, or we’re questioning many of our choices.

With insight and urgency, Meghan introduces a fresh perspective—the Spacious Life—and what it means for the “middlescence” life stage. She explores the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual changes we can expect. She also illuminates key pillars for transforming times of liminality and change into periods of courage, creativity, and contribution.

In this life-affirming presentation, Meghan leads audience members through her signature “Nope-to-Dope” process for navigating pivotal times with more intention, curiosity, and joy. Participants leave with actionable ways to reclaim, reignite, and reimagine their lives…often stronger than before.

“On behalf of the leadership team from the Departments of Urology, Urogynecology, Sexual Medicine, we want to thank Meghan for helping our team members explore ways to tackle burnout and resiliency. She is an effective speaker, very engaging, and an asset to our organization. Her talk was well received, and we look forward to working with her in the future.”

— Garjae L., Department Chair and Medical Doctor

“Thank you so much for leading and facilitating such a meaningful and fun experience with fresh and doable frameworks and content. I’m so grateful for you sharing easy, practical approaches to show up for ourselves in more impactful ways.”

— Jennifer C., Corporate Director

“You gave us some terrific insights and tools for cultivating wellbeing in our professional and personal lives. For my own leadership, I gained insight into the importance of the what and how (rather than the why). At the close of the retreat, I shared some of my takeaways from the day – and they included the To Do and Ta Da lists and the progressive “S’s.” Thank you for sharing your wisdom and positive energy with us and for leaving us with valuable materials to reference. With gratitude!“

— Nancy E., Sr. VP, General Counsel

“I am writing to let you know how impressed I am with the [resources] your team has put together. Wow. You created a tool that is timely, full of practical information based on science, socially aware, and beautiful to look at... I just wanted you to know that I think you are doing great and important work that is among the best of its kind I have seen.”

— Ross O., Corporate Director

I knew the [Psychological Safety] Training was special... but until yesterday I didn't realize how special it was. You've put together a fantastic training that is making a real impact in our organization and for our leaders.

— Ashley G., Population Health Lead

I wanted to reach out and say thank you for creating/including the Cognitive Reframing exercise in the [workshop] that was hosted earlier this year. I was sharing how successful this activity has been for me and for my team. We used this at our last all-staff meeting and it was a hit. Since, I have had staff speak to me privately about how they use this tool when they feel stuck or feel like they are in a rut and it helps them immensely.

— Jacob S., Lab Manager

  • Absolutely—it’s kind of my jam. I do full-on retreats, wee-treats (like, one-dayers), and e-treats on demand. Something special happens when people get away (even virtually!), because we can really go deep when we have the time.

Let’s talk about what you have in mind for your group… we can come up with something impactful and memorable—and best of all, you’ll be the hero for having arranged it all.
